District 8 Runner-Up vs. District 1 Champion – 4:30 PM
District 1 Runner-Up vs. District 3 Champion – 7:00 PM
July 22nd:
District 3 Runner-Up vs. District 4 Runner-Up – 2:00 PM
District 3 Champion vs. District 5 Runner-Up – 4:30 PM
July 23rd:
District 4 Runner-Up vs. District 2 Champion – 4:30 PM
District 3 Champion vs. District 6 Runner-Up – 7:30 PM
July 24th (Quarterfinals):

has also been eliminated from the tournament.
This year, Bluefield
will have the honor of hosting some of the West Virginia Junior League

League All-Star team has been eliminated from the tournament.
Congratulations to them for making it to Round 2 and
representing Bluefield well!
7/7/07 1:04 AM: The Minor and Junior
All-Stars have made it to the district finals!!! The minor
league team plays today (July 7th) at 8:00 PM against Princeton
Blue at Sophia Little League, and the Junior League All-Stars
play today at 4:30 PM versus Princeton at Princeton's Gardner
Fields.
6/30/07 9:26 PM: Both Junior League
games were rained out tonight. They will be rescheduled. We'll
put the updated schedules here...

Saturday, June 30, 2007: Bluefield
defeated the Princeton Red All-Star team by a final score of
12-10
Sunday, July 1, 2007:
Bluefield beat Peterstown 11-2
Tuesday, July 3, 2007:
Cody Goins tossed a two-hitter and every Bluefield batter got at
least one hit and one run, leading the 9-10-year-old All-Stars
to a four-inning 31-1 rout of Ronceverte/Fairlea on Tuesday
evening.
Bluefield (3-1) in the District 4 pool play, will play Trap Hill
on Friday at 8 p.m. at Gardner.
Friday, July 6, 2007:
Bluefield defeats Trap Hill 7-4. Bluefield advances to the
district finals as the #2 seed from Pool 1, and will play
Princeton Blue on Saturday, July 7th at 8:00 at Sophia Little
League.
Saturday, July 7, 2007:
Bluefield beat Princeton Blue 12-11 in the district finals. Bluefield is now one win away from
making history by making it to the minor league state tournament! Bluefield will play
against Sophia on Monday, July 9, 2007, at Sophia Little League
at 6 PM.
Monday, July 9, 2007:
Bluefield loses against Sophia 18-5
Tuesday, July 10, 2007:
Bluefield loses to Shady Spring 3-2. Bluefield is now eliminated
from the tournament. Congratulations to the team for making it
as far as they did!

2007: Bluefield (Home) vs. Oak Hill (Visitors) at Bluefield
State College
RAIN OUT. The game has been reschedules to Tuesday, July
3rd.
Saturday, June 30,
2007: Bluefield All-Stars defeat the Greenbrier County All-Stars 8-5
Bluefield was led at the plate by Donnie Robbins, who went
2 for 2 with 2 RBI's, and Brad Fox, who got an outstanding 3 RBI triple. Marcus Constantino
was the winning pitcher for Bluefield. He pitched for 5 and 2/3 innings, and was assisted by
Donnie Robbins for 1 and 1/3 inning.
Bluefield will play Upper Kanawha Valley on Monday, July 2, 2007
at Princeton's Gardener Fields at 6:00 PM
Monday, July 2,
2007: Bluefield defeats Upper Kanawha Valley 8-1
The Bluefield 13-14-year-old
All-Stars beat Upper Kanawha Valley 8-1 Monday in District 4
first-round pool play at the Little League junior level.
Estel Shumate was the winning pitcher, throwing a one-hitter
with 10 strikeouts in six innings. Matt Keczan led Bluefield in
hitting, going 2-for-2 and scoring three runs, with two walks.
Shumate batted 2-for-3.
Bluefield plays today
(July 3rd) at 6 p.m. against Oak Hill at Bluefield State
College.
Tuesday, July 3,
2007: Bluefield falls to Oak Hill 10-8
Kyle Colon had four hits,
including a triple, as Oak Hill defeated Bluefield in a
13-14-year-old Junior League contest on Tuesday at Bluefield
State College.
Cody Copley led Bluefield with two hits. Bluefield is 2-1 in
tourney play, and will host Trap Hill on Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
That game will be preceded at 6 p.m. by Oak Hill and Upper
Kanawha Valley.
Thursday, July 5,
2007: Bluefield comes from behind to defeat Trap Hill 11-10
Bluefield was down 7-2 in the 4th inning, but that didn't stop
them from coming back to beat Trap Hill 11-10. Aaron Bailey was the winning pitcher for Bluefield,
pitching through five of the seven innings. Bluefield's performance at the plate
helped them to their victory. Bluefield
finishes District play with a 3-1 record, and will enter the
regional tournaments as the #2 seed from pool 1, taking on
Princeton on Saturday, July 7th at 4:30 PM at Princeton's
Gardner Fields.
Saturday, July 7,
2007: Bluefield defeats Princeton 6-3
Bluefield came from behind to defeat Princeton at Gardner Field
Saturday in 13-14 Junior League baseball. Andrew Shaw, Estel
Shumate, and Aaron Bailey led Bluefield at the dish.
Corey Quick led Princeton with three hits.
Donnie Robbins only threw 20 pitches, but got the win for
Bluefield. Marcus Constantino threw four strong innings for
Bluefield.
Bluefield is now 1 win away from the Junior League state tournaments! They will face off against
Shady Spring on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Princeton's Gardner
Fields at 6 PM.
Tuesday, July 10,
2007: Shady Spring rallies to defeat Bluefield 9-5
Marcus Constantino went 3-for-3
with a double and two singles. Matt Keczan was 2-for-4 with a
double and a single, and Donnie Robbins was 2-for-2 with 2
singles. Estel Shumate, Aaron Bailey, and Tim Goss each
contributed one single apiece.
Bluefield plays against
the winner of the game between Princeton and Oak Hill, for a
final shot at the state tournament. The Princeton and Oak Hill
game is July 11, 2007 at Gardner Fields, and the Bluefield game
is July 12, 2007 at 6:00 PM at Gardner Fields.
Thursday, July
12, 2007: Bluefield falls to Princeton 7-3, and is eliminated
from tournament
Michael Fortner, Marcus
Constantino, and Matt Keczan contributed at the plate. Bluefield
is now eliminated from the tournament.
